Is Lars Larson turning liberal?

I was under the impression that all these things would come to pass before two Democratic Congressmen from Oregon could get an amendment passed in the US House of Representatives:

The U.S. House of Representatives approved an amendment to the Higher Education Act directing the U.S. Secretary of Education to convene a summit of higher education experts on sustainability.

The amendment was authored by Oregon Democratic representatives Earl Blumenauer and David Wu and Rep. Vern Ehlers, R-Mich.

Those GOPers running the House in DC must be going soft. Ethics scandals and legal troubles will do that to ya, I guess.
