OR GOP Practices Insanity, Defined

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

I don't have too much else in the way of comment for this story, except for perhaps a hearty Seinfeldian "Good luck with all of THAT!"
The Oregon Republican Party has re-elected Salem attorney Vance Day as chairman and Russ Walker of Keizer as vice chairman.

Also re-elected by acclamation were secretary Donna Cain of Medford and treasurer Charles Oakes of Ontario, according to executive director Amy Langdon. Each of the officers will serve a two-year term, including Day, who was first elected chairman in July 2005 when Kevin Mannix stepped down to run for governor.

Langdon said 92 delegates from 25 of Oregon's 36 counties gathered at the State Fairgrounds in Salem on Saturday for the election. The results were announced Monday.
