Via The Trib, here lies the next potential black hole for the City of Portland.
I'm not an expert on these sorts of agreements and I don't play one on this blog, but it sure looks to me like this absolves Pamplin and everybody around him of any enviornmental lawsuits stemming from Ross Island.
Perhaps somebody more legal beagle-ish than me can read through and determine if that's really the case.
While its great that the City is going to get a new park, it seems awfully dangerous to accept this property and have no legal recourse if the previous owner trashed it to the point where its an enviornmental disaster.
