Prying power out of her cold, dead hands

Oregon has no limits on campaign contributions. That's helping to create some pretty expensive races around the state.

A group called the Public Commission on the Oregon Legislature is charged with putting some spit and polish on the legislature's image. They say all that cash is very likely influencing policy decisions by lawmakers.

Uh...ya think?

The Commission is recommending that those legislators who raise money for other candidates become ineligible for leadership positions.

Guess who came out foursquare against that idea?

The problems in Salem aren't about term limits. Its about campaign finance reform. The fact that Minnis is against this must mean its at least worth looking over.
