Badge of honor

Talk show charlatan Bill O'Reilly has a thing for the Oregonian's Peter Ames Carlin.

Carlin is the Oregonian's TV critic who recently covered Fox's Roger Ailes' bloviatings about how all the world loves to hate Fox. This coverage apparently caused Bill O'Reilly to foam up one of his trademark snits.

Carlin should take it as a compliment. Not everyone gets to be the object of O'Reilly's falafel loving ravings.

So Peter--think of Bill's kindergarten-style media sausage grinder rant as a badge of honor. If he were to publicly support you instead of villifying you, it would give us a pause.
