Guv appoints Martha Lee Walters to Oregon Supremes

Oregon goobernor Ted Kulongoski announced that attorney Martha Lee Walters is his appointment for the Oregon Supreme Court. Walters is replacing retiring jurist William Riggs who will step down at the end of September.

Walters is an attorney with Walters Romm Chanti & Dickens, P.C in Eugene. She has never served on the bench. She's served on the Oregon Law Commission and been a practicing attorney for 30 years.
