What's Minnis got on this guy?
If candidate endorsements were fertlizer--the Building And Construction Trades union endorsement of Karen Minnis would be a shit stink of epic proportions.
This malordous appropriation comes complete with a mailer to the HD 49 electorate.
I wonder if Mr. Bob Shiprack (or any of the others on this mailer) bothered to pay attention to Minnis' actual voting record before this was slapped out.
According to the Oregon AFL-CIO voting records, Minnis' support of labor issues has drastically worsened in the last few years.
In 2001, Minnis had a 53% record of voting for labor issues. 2003 saw a 50% record. In 2005, Minnis' record took a nosedive down to 36%.
The only thing I can think of is that Minnis must have something over on this guy. Given her lousy voting record on labor, there doesn't seem to be a better explanation.
