SB 2: Senate votes tomorrow!

The good folks at Basic Rights Oregon just informed us that Senate Bill 2 is going to get the final floor vote treatment tomorrow.

BRO is asking folks to join them in Salem at the Capitol tomorrow morning at 9:30. This is a watershed even in Oregon's civil rights movement. I so wish I could be down there to witness it.

Once this bill passes the Senate tomorrow--it will be shuffled up to the Guv's office where his signature will be affixed and we'll have ourselves a new nondiscrimination law.

This will stand as one of the days I'm most proud to be an Oregonian.
