KOIN: KXL Radio Kicks Imus to the Curb

Breaking, as they say:
Portland's KXL Radio is pulling Don Imus off the air after the syndicated talk show host made racially charged comments about the Rutgers women's basketball team.

ImusMSNBC and CBS Radio will suspend Imus for two weeks starting Monday.

KXL says it was considering dropping Imus before the latest controversy, and this was the last straw.

"I am going to take him off the air on KXL. We'll see what happens to his show nationally, and we'll see if the market will accept him or not accept him once his suspension airs," General Manager Tim McNamara told KOIN News 6.
Now if we can only bait Lars into calling UP's soccer team a bunch of bull dykes, we all can save a whole bunch of money on air freshener, barf bags and worn out tuner knobs.
